We are pleased to announce another beer festival for the village following on from last years successful event which once again was sold out prior to the day. It will be held in the Four Marks Village Hall. We are planning to have beers from all parts of the country, we particularly enjoy having beers you may not of heard about as well of course, ales from our own Village Triple fff Brewing company. Keep an eye on the web site for more information or sign up with your email for the latest information. The festival is run by a great team of volunteers and with their efforts we are managing to again keep the entrance price the same as in previous years at £10.
This will be our sixth festival in which our aim is to simply give the community a great night out, trying some great beers. We will be tempting you with cider, wine will also be available curtesy of The Naked Grape.
Local businesses have helped us with sponsorship and as a result the Beer festival has made donations to various village projects and other worthy causes.”
We have received a letter from the Teenage Cancer Trust thanking Four Marks Beer Festival participants for giving donations on the night last year amounting to an incredible £347.62.
The Trust support young cancer patients and their families before during and after treatment by providing them with age appropriate care in 28 units in NHS hospitals across the UK. They also support young people who are treated elsewhere through outreach services.
The work doesn’t end when cancer treatment ends, as young people and their families adjust to whatever the future holds and the Trust is there to support them.
Thank you for supporting Teenager Cancer Trust.
We would not be able to put on such a successful event without the help of local businesses. We would like to express thanks to the following organisations, who are sponsoring our 2017 event:
